Alibaba sets a 5–10 trillion-parameter target and introduces a new AI chip

Alibaba said it plans to train an AI model with 5–10 trillion parameters and unveiled the Zhenwu V900 accelerator. CEO Eddie Wu presented both at the company’s Apsara conference on September 22.
